Hi everyone,


I'm almost done setting up my first Opencart store. I have all the modules / language pack / settings i'll need for now.

I want to save this store and use it as a barebones store for future stores i'll need to manage.
Is it possible to save the Database / OC Folder, and whenever I need to start a new store for another customer just use this one? with all the settings and modules installed?

I'm guessing i'll need to import the saved database, change both config.php files pointing to the new database and it would work?

Is this viable?

I would not suggest to use this approach since domain configurations can still be stored on the database by many extensions or even by the OC database setting table itself which can cause the platform not to load properly as it may require more troubleshooting rather than installing a fresh version.
