Text in description grey not black

Having issues when doing my descriptions.
text colour is set to #000000 which should be black.
When I view the live webpage it's grey and and there are a couple of strands of text that ARE black!

Doing my friggin head in!
Along with all product boxes not retaining any text formatting it is really annoying is it makes
the site look very amateurish!
Really how hard can it be!
(Yes it's default layout that I'm using!)

Any help, guidance or interventions would be greatly appreciated.

Pretty straight forward explaination. My text is GREY not BLACK.

Text is GREY but there are a few words as one can see that are black!

All text has been selected and font colour set to #000000 (BLACK) in descriptions when doing product info.
