Is it possible to add category image to category module to show on home page instead of the list of categories?

Is it possible to add a category image to the homepage category module for each category instead of just showing the list of categories please?
Any instructions would be most welcome.

OK but I have my own customised theme already see www. sweetloveconfectionery.co.uk I am also blind so it would have to be easy to use for me?
