I know you guys have heard this 1000 times, but I am new to this. I have no idea how to change the text on my homepage. I have installed everything correctly; however, I can't find anywhere in this forum. Any help would be appreciated

Thank you for the input...I am not at all familiar with editing php..all I want on the home page is :
"Welcome Guest! Would you like to log yourself in? Or would you prefer to create an account?", followed by the Latest products ..what do I need to edit out?
Welcome Guest! Would you like to log yourself in? Or would you prefer to create an account?Congratulations! You have successfully installed OpenCart.Please begin to configure your installation in the administration.Good Luck!';
$_['text_logged']  = 'Welcome back %s!Congratulations! You have successfully installed OpenCart.Please begin to configure your installation in the administration.Don\'t forget to change the default administration username and password to keep your online shop secure.';
$_['text_latest']  = 'Latest Products';
?>
also, where can I go to learn more about editing the PHP files? Thanks for the help...

In general. Sticky up top

Here
// Text
$_['text_greeting'] = 'Welcome Guest! Would you like to log yourself in? Or would you prefer to create an account?Congratulations! You have successfully installed OpenCart.Please begin to configure your installation in the administration.Good Luck!';
Read the English looking bits and it'll become apparent
It's pretty much just html
