Has anyone thought about maybe creating a few new OpenCart Reports for v149?

A few suggeestions
Sales Report that includes:
product wholesale cost
product sale price
net profit (product sale price-product wholesale cost)
order date (start date)
order date (end date)

filter report by
order date (start date)
order date (end date)
order total
customer first name
customer last name
number of orders

Maybe an Inventory Report
product name
product model
product quantity
wholesale cost
product sale price
potential net profit

filter report by
product name
product model
product quantity

I am sure more people can come up with more OpenCart Report ideas...

I've been working on a full financial report. Although it is still "work in progress", you can view it at http://demo.fido-x.net. Log in to the admin with "demo/demo" and look under the "Fido-Xtras" menu. You'll find a "Financial Report".

Wow!!

This is just the thing. Do you have a idea of when it will be finished?

Profit and loss is only accurate if you buy and sell stock only online, if you have a shop its gonna be a nightmare to merge the two together, you would need to keep updating stock numbers online everytime you sell something in store.

Initially i thought about doing this but came to the conlcusion it was probably best to just have a sales report, imported into an excel sheet, which can be added to one incorperated from in store sales, and keep all the purchase data seperate from the online store.

That way theres no messing abour regarding matching up sales against purchases, or indeed profit against loss.

BTW, have you thought about added a VAT reconcilliation option? havent looked at what you done so cant say if you have already or not, but for sales and purchases that require VAT rebates/payments, it would be quite handy.

Example in the uk, businesses with an X amount of turnover require to be VAT registered, if you wish to do something silimiar and require some idea of what you need to list, and the layout thats needed (example would be generate a VAT form report) then message me and ill be glad to send you an image of an example form.

EDIT: I just chcked out your financial report, and under the profit and loss tab, there is a section where you have Sales (includding shipping a taxes)

Would just like to point out, that here in the UK, total sales and purchases would be based on Net figures (i.e sales less VAT, and purchases less VAT, not Gross if you are VAT registered), therefore VAT should be deducted before profit for a true p & l account.

Would be nice if you could combine order statuses (multi-select)

Can you pull out just sales to taxable states?

Any chance the reports could be exported to csv or xml or maybe quickbooks?

This is a great mod, thanks :)
