Hi there, I'm looking for a simple ecommerce system for my clients.

Currently I do a lot with Joomla/VirtueMart but find that there are too many features and clients get a bit overwhelmed. However, Joomla is fairly easy to skin.

Anyway, I've stumbled across OpenCart and it looks to be a nice clean system for my clients to use. I plan to create a site design and then put the OpenCart 'parts' into it like you can with some CMS systems. Is this how it works? ie does it use includes or do I have to really modify existing templates 'in situ' all the time?

Many thanks,

Ollie

It uses the smarty-style template system, but most of it should be designable via CSS

OK thanks, I guess the best thing is to install it and have a look round.

Cheers.
