Change color menu bar

Hello i have an journal template and i want to change the lines round the menu bar so the catagory are better to see.
Can somebody tell me where i must change this in the files?

Thank you butt when i look on the FTP then the Journal template has not an stylesheet.css. It has an simple.css butt there i can not find the right things to adjust.
