Today i place a demo order through admin panel and when i changed the order status then i see a error message in upper section. The error is:-

Looks like OpenCart 1.x. MultiMerch for OpenCart 1.x has been discontinued for 3 years now so I'm surprised you actually managed to find it somewhere and it does work at all. The bug is most likely caused by a missing order comment field and can be fixed by adding an isset check to the mscommission library.
Still, I'd recommend upgrading to OpenCart 2.3.0.2 and the latest stable MultiMerch 8.10 which we released a few weeks ago (compared to MultiMerch 5 for OpenCart 1.x from just a bit more than 3 years ago): https://multimerch.com/resources/changelog/
