Is there a way to create a module to scan a upc or use Amazon's ASIN number to list a product?

A scanner just keys the code in faster than you can. It's simply a matter of having a searchable field with the UPC, ISBN, etc. codes.

Unless you use it for your Model, or include it in some way in your description, which could easily be done, you would have to add a new field and make it searchable. This may be in the latest version, or coming soon - an additional searchable field.

That's all there is to it. If you do have a bar code, simply scanning it just fills in the filed quicker than you can do on the keyboard. So get a field, add the text for the code and you are good to go.
