Few questions...
Is there any way I can get Mailchimp to handle loyalty point emails? Currently it sends out a barebones email... would love to be able to customize this fully..
Am I correct in understanding that MailChimp Extension (Pro) can handle all outgoing emails by OpenCart... so i can fully customize all emails being sent out, orders, refunds, abandoned etc,
Is this regarding my MailChimp Integration Pro extension? If so, note that it does NOT change how OpenCart sends e-mails, it's only for syncing your OpenCart and newsletter lists, and sending orders/carts to MailChimp. You can then use automated e-mails to send out follow-up order e-mails and abandoned cart e-mails, but it does not actually stop the regular OpenCart e-mails from sending. (I can tell you how to do that if you want to, though.)
My extension doesn't have any integration with the reward points system in OpenCart, though I could probably add the ability to map a reward points value to a particular Merge Field in MailChimp. That way you could segment based on that data, and send out an e-mail to a particular group of customers. If you purchase my extension and are interested in that, please contact me and I can see about getting you a pre-release version that would have that feature:
