Clean install, not an upgrade.
On first install and admin login, pop requests user move the storage folder to the root of the server. When selecting automatic move, the pop times-out. Nothing apparently happens. After screen refresh and all is fine.

checking the server files, I can see the storage folder has been created at the root. However the storage folder at OC-install>system> still exists. Rather than moving the folder, it duplicated the folder.

this did not happen on 3.0.1.1

is this a bug?

It does not matter as long as config.php points to the one from root.

what's the point in moving it then? or duplicating in this case...
if it's a security issue, surely having the original files in the system folder poses a security risk?
