Global Mega Options - Problem

Hi all, im very new to open cart and im really stuck on a problem with the Global Mega Options module.
Im using opencart 1.4.8 and its currently installed http://www.images2canvas.com/index.php

When an item is added to the cart with an uploaded file using the upload attribute it will not let me remove it by using the little red "x" in the cart module. You see the small timer icon spin but then the product remains in the cart. Ive tried all the other attributes and they delete fine, its only if the upload form has been used. Does anyone have any ideas?

It makes no difference when switching the template to default.
