Hello,
I need to set a starting invoice number because I also sell in the traditional way (outside the site) and I need to skip some invoice numbers on the site.
Is there an extension? Moreover customers should be able to download invoices directly from their account. I found many extensions for this but they autogenerate the number and this is a problem.

you will have to let the system know that you need an invoice number skipped. you can try a POS extension for opencart and see if this solves your issue. you can also set a beginning letter or number for internet sales so you can identify the order right away. using a prefix like WS (web sale) will keep them separate. if you have a brick and morter location check out the point of sale extensions..
