Hi,

I got a simple question: I need 1 tax worldwide. So when you buy products from Brasil you pay 21% tax. When you buy products from Italy; you pay 21% tax. When you buy from Japan, you pay 21% tax. Etc..

Please don't ask about the 'Why' thing. This is how it works in our country (Netherlands) and we need it.

One small catch; Because of different shipping costs per country it's not possible to add all countries to one Geozone with the 21% tax.

Is there a mod? Or is there a developer who wants to pick this up asap?

Hey kec. Right now I am on the road so I cant check for sure but I think you can create a tax class based on your store adress. And then apply it on every product.
Its on settings localization tax classes. I am not sure though! Check it out!!

Amen! You did it. While 2 'OC developers' wanted to empty my pockets you came up with a simple free solution!

For other users:
1) create a store location with your store address
2) go to System -> Localisation -> Taxes -> Tax Group
3) Click in the pulldown menu under "Based on" your store location
4) save

Voila... there you go!

Thank you for mentioning that. I think that We (developers and users) ought to help each other so we can grow opencart bigger! This will benefit us all. There is strong competition out there community is one of OC strong points.I know cause I have been developing in other platforms as well. Lets keep it that way.
