Problems changing themes

I have been trying to change my Opencart 1.5.6 default theme to my new Pavo Citymart theme but it's not changing and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've followed all the instructions online such as installing the Citymart folder to the root directory of the Opencart site (catalog/view/theme folder) but it still doesn't change when I switch the template on the Opencart Admin Dashboard. Does anyone know why? Also, how can I just install the QuickStart folder which is supposed to be easier? I'm just confused with the Xampp and Wamp...what does that mean?

well, PavoThemes as commercial Theme Seller has it's own Support Department,
