Move product Description

Hi, i'm trying to move the product description from being in the tab area to being on the right hand side where the price, model, availability etc is listed.
I tried editing my product.tpl (specifically adding it to the "list unstyled" area but it doesn't do anything at all. In fact nothing I seem to do to product.tpl seems to affect the page. Is there somewhere else I should be looking?

The only other thing I can think is to buy an extension that adds a short description to that area and then have to buy another one that removes product description from the tab area if that field is blank but I don't want to have to buy two extensions to do this job. My site only has really short descriptions anyway so I don't need it on two areas.

Thanks Ernie but did not help unfortunately. The coding is different and as I mentioned, any changes I make to product.tpl don't seem to make any difference.
Still trying to fix this issue.
Any other ideas that I can try?

Hi michellemaree have you gone into extensions/modifications and clicked refresh ?
Once you have refreshed you should see the changes you make to files

Hi, Before edit product.tpl once be sure that you are editing your active theme files. Otherwise it's easy to move description inside tab area. Let me know if still you have issue.
