Customisations and Themes

Hi, I'm looking to do some customisations of the user, manufacturer and product pages for an art gallery site. Where can I find some guidance as to how to go about this in a way which means I might still be able to easily switch themes for the front end if I want to?

Let me Know Which Version You are Using Of opencart
And can you tell me what kind of changes or customization you like to do

Hi it would be version 2.3 and I would be planning to extend the user and manufacturer classes and some of the customer facing product pages.
