I have searched and read all instances in regards to product images not showing up without finding a fix....

Running 0.7.8

Product page: http://www.allihill.com/product/path/27/product_id/5

I have uploaded the image "canvas_100.jpg" to my /www/image folder and this folder permissions are set to 777, as is the image itself.  Successful via OpenCart Admin.

The image is viewable if URL is used:  http://www.allihill.com/image/canvas_100.jpg

Config files (both) have the image folder set correctly :  /usr/local/www/vhosts/allihill.com/httpdocs/image/

Anyone have suggestion as why the product image is not showing up on the actual product page?

Hate to ask the obvious but...

Have you linked the image to the product in the store admin?

When I install opencart following the instructions to chmod images to 0666 and images cache to 0666 i get permission denied on the images/cache folder. Chmod 0777 images fixes this however I can not see any image on the homepage of the new store.

I believe i should be seeing something like the motorbikes in the images folder but they do not show up.

I think it could just be a permissions problem.

Thanks

Copy the images to the images folder using ftp if the files are not there.

Got the same problem here. Fresh install of OpenCart.

The default product images are not showing up. Neither are the images I upload. I can see the names to choose them on the admin side. Everything seems fine there.

I simply see NO product images in the front end. I don't see manufacturer images either. Though I'm not sure where they should show up.

I would hazard a guess that the correct permissions are not being applied to the uploaded image. This problem has cropped up before - permissions of 600 being applied to the file, instead of 644.

Applying this fix http://forum.opencart.com/index.php/top ... ml#msg8824 should resolve your issue.

Hello Jeff,
Welcome to Open Cart,
I'm not following your problem

So you deleted the motorbikes but you now can't delete the motorbikes ?
Did you do something else in between like a re-install ?

For the second problem, it is likely that you have a product that uses the image and hence
This Image cannot be deleted as it is currently assigned to 1 products!
Also, it is best to install 0.7.9RC4 instead of 0.7.8 from the front site
0.7.9RC4 is available from the link in the Announcements Forum
