Hello,

I posted this in the support forum but now I know this one is here il post it here instead ;D

what I am after is a "Free Delivery on this product" option within the admin area when adding a product, that only applys to the UK, and shipping is still charged at the overseas rate if the customer is in another country?

At the minute I use the require shipping: "no" option when adding a product but this applys to all zones and not just the UK.

Also, if the Free Delivery on this product is selected then some text or an image displays on the product in the store front to indicate that the shipping is free to uk.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks,

Helen

Hi Helen,

Did you try the free shipping extension in admin/backend? Go to extension->shipping and install 'Free Shipping' extension. After that you can configure to choose Geo Zone : UK Shipping. That's it, when checking out, this option will be displayed if country of shipment is UK.

Thank you for your reply,

Yes I already have free shipping installed for when customers spend over a certain amount, but some products are free shipping but dont go over the free shipping amount. So I was wanting to be able to be able to activate a free uk delivery option on whichever products I want and then for a free uk delivery icon to show on the product in the store front.

If customer chooses 2 products, first with free uk delivery and second is not free delivery. The total amount does not go over free shipping amount. What shipping methode would be used? Charged by weight based or still free shipping since one of the products has free delivery.
