Code View Area on Product Modify Page - Bug

if you to to the edit a product page and click in description, then click code view, then make changes in code view.
the changes do not save to the DB.
If you click out of code view and back to the description and click save, the changes then save.

then, try one of those extensions, Summernote has it's flaws!
