Payment detail to Paypal

I am using teh Paypal standard module. If the user orders several items it seems that the only detail that is transmitted to paypal is the total amount (no order detail information at all) ... is this correct? is there anyway to configure the payment module so that it send the payment detail information to paypal?

Then you need only read the paypal documentation to identify the extra fields that need to be added in the fields() function of catalog/extension/payments/paypal.php

Curious: If OpenCart sends all the product details to the PayPals payment gateway, isn't the user, once on the PayPal payment page, able to update and/or delete some of the products on the PayPal page before making the final payment? And if that is possible, can OpenCart still keep track of the actual products purchased?

no they are not ... depends how you send it .. this is setup secure so they are fixed.
