I want to create areas within the administration that needs extra password to accesse. For example subpages within extensions. I do not need high level password security so for example something based on php. Anyone that have a tip on a available php code and file to use. I want everything to work as it do, but that there will be asked for a password to accesse the areas I write in the code. It must work smothless regards to the end user.

So far i tried the php code that I uploaded. But it do not work as wanted.

I assume, you should be able, to achieve all this by use of the Admin User-Group
Rights
. By creating special Admin Groups and Users, you can select, wich
User and/or User-Group should be allowed to access and/or edit certain Admin
Sections and Functions.

And in order to be able to work on a more decent looking Page, you could use this
fine free Extension, displaying it's Stuff, as seen on the image(s) below.

Admin Grouprights in Columns free, still functions on my OC v.2.2.x!

I modified one to make it work on OC v.1.5.6.5, if one is interested, let me know
by use of the Shop Contact Page on my hitline.info Test Site, linked down below!

Good Luck ;)
