Making Product Discounts independant from Customer Groups

Hello together,
i searched for it a lot but could not find anything. problem is that we have many products and many customer groups.
And when updating the prices we have to update all customer group prices.
So it would be great if there is a setting or a extension to make the prices in the oc_product_discount table independant from customer groups.
Did anybody here ever had the same problem and came to a solution?
