how to display language name in url

is there any way to show in url name of the language that has been selected
For instance `

Code: Select all

 https://forum.opencart.com/en/    

or to show

Code: Select all

 https://forum.opencart.com/ru/

i did try the code from both links ,but didn't get any result(the suggested code is outdated, i use opencart 2.3.0.2)
how can i fix this please ,help...

Unfortunately, I cannot, I hit the brakes on OC v.2.2.x, mainly due to limited Brain Ressources, and won't touch anything newer, until v.3.x will be an established and proven Standard.
