Hello Developers,

Opencart admin area wysiwyg text editor in product description,information,etc are powered by open source Summernote text editor. There is an issue with this editor.
The changes you done in code view is not actually saved but when you go back to normal view mode from code view can save the changes. There is a temporary fix posted by tonyspiro in github

Is there anyone here to implement this fix in our opencart package? \admin\view\javascript\summernote

P.S: my OC version is 2.3.0.2

I have found that once you have edited in code view you have to then return to normal view first, and then click save

Yes Cyclops I am aware of that. I wish to have a fix instead of changing views.

if you really want a working fix for this, just install the free CKEDITOR for OC v.2.2 instead.
According to other Users, it works well even in the latest OC v.2.3.x.

Nope, this one will do, according to the information from another User, a few days ago!
And it will NOT overwrite your existing Summernote Editor, so, don't worry about anything!

Thank you buddy. It works with 2.3.0.2. far better than summer note. I am just wondering why devs preferred summer note over ck.
