Recommend a horizontal subcategory extension

2.3 has a very annoying bug. When the vertical listing of subcategories runs beyond the bottom of the screen, it isn't possible to access the view all categories link at the bottom. It and the last sub categories are just cut off. I'd like to have an extension that lists the subcategories in two or more columns that expand horizontally acroos the screen to keep all the subcategories on the screen. Does anybody know of one? Thanks.
