Product Quantity Becomes "Negative" (-1)

Dear All,
I have created an option call sizes and there are many sizes for the customer to choose. Unfortunately, if only 1 product left for that kind of size, the customer still can buy for more than 1 and the product becomes "-1". How can it be like that? It supposes to appear a warning popup to show that the quantity is not enough to be bought. Anyone, please help me.
