removed url-class

Hi there,
i just wonder why you have removed the url-class like:
$this->url->https
?
Just curious.

Thanks for directing to the thread.
I read all the speeches about proper versioning and the "one man show" etc., but i am currently have no satisfying answer why the url-class was removed!
