Im sure people have ran into this problem, so here it goes.
I have around 1000 products to upload. Doing this through the admin panel is very tedious and time consuming.
Is there any way i can make an excel file with all of the data ( title, description, meta tags, category, price, etc) and then just import the .csv file?
This way I can verify that all of the data is uniform throughout.
Also every year when our prices go up, this would be much easier to change the prices.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Absolute advantage of OpenCart import from the file is that you can transfer product details to OpenCart in bulk without manual info arrangement and re-entering. Respectively, the products, you are going to upload and product related details should be structured within a file.
Successful OpenCart product import outcomes require some settings and preparations to be done beforehand, namely:
- organize data to be transferred in a worthwhile manner and include fields required, depending on whether you upload new merchandise to OpenCart or update existing
- protect your store data from possible malfunctions and proceed with data backup
- images, you are going to add to some entities at OpenCart, won’t be uploaded until FTP connection is not configured. Set it up via Preferences -> FTP
Store Manager for Opencart manages different file formats (.csv, .xml, .xsl/.xlsx. .ods, .txt) and does not set strict requirements for the import file. You can efficiently add new products to OpenCart or renew existing ones in the process of OpenCart import. Read related article on OpenCart data upload -
