Hi,
I am running opencart 2.2 and the email receipt that goes to the customer looks great and perfect.

I want to get the same exact email sent to me, the store owner, when an order comes in.

I am using authorize.net (AIM) and right now, when orders come in, I get an authorize.net template email receipt notifying of the order, the customer info, the amount of the order, but this email does not say anywhere on it what was ACTUALLY ordered which is a pain in the neck. I know I could then login to opencart admin and check the ordered items but that's an extra step that seems to be a waste of time.

Ideally, I'd just like the same exact email that goes to the customer since that has all the necessary info. I searched a bit and I see this extension here:

... seems to do exactly what I want, only it's for older versions of opencart. I'm running 2.2 however. I did try another paid extension but that one didn't work properly so back to looking for another solution.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do what I'm looking to do?

Log in to your admin and go to "System->Settings" and edit your store. Under the "Option" tab, you'll find an entry for "New Order Mail Alert". Setting this to "Yes" should provide you with an email confirmation of the order. It will only be a text email and not a fully "styled" one like the customer gets, but it will provide the information you're after.

I did make the suggested setting changes and made 2 test purchases but still I don't receive an email at my store email. The customer email goes through fine though.

Any other suggestions?

Also to note, what you mentioned would be great. I don't need the email to be super pretty, just with all the necessary info. Customer info, order amount and actual items ordered.

I do still get the authorize.net template email. I'm wondering if somehow that is interfering with the email that is supposed to go out with the suggested changes? Is it something like the case that I might need to somehow disable the authorize.net order emails before the other one goes out? Not really sure, I'm just throwing out possible ideas.

If anyone has any ideas, would appreciate it.

Looks like I was getting the emails, I was just having email issues. Think I got it straightened out now.
