Coupon Appearing Twice in Checkout

Hi forums!

We have a slight problem with our Open Cart build. The coupon discount seems to be applying twice on the checkout page. So I have a coupon for $3.00 off. It applies it just fine on the view cart page, however when I go to checkout it shows the discount applied as $6.00 instead of $3.00.

My checkout screen items show up in this order:

Subtotal
Coupon
Flat Rate Shipping
State Tax
Grand Total

Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Kindly let us know exactly which version of Opencart are you using and are you using any module for coupon system?

Also share your website URL and a coupon code if possible. You may cerate a test product on the website.

We are using V 2.1 The coupon module is the one that comes with Open Cart. It's not an add on.

The only thing we can recommend you to disable all third party modules and vqmod files and check if issue persists. It seems to be an issue which is caused by some third party module.
