Page Alignment Issues

I'm trying to cleanup my site and make everything look good and right, but I'm having some issues with certain parts and need help pointing me to the right files and lines in the code.

1.) At the bottom of my home page, there's a gap where there should be white. How can I make this so that no matter what I put for text in the middle, it will fill in all the way to the footer or do I just have to remember to keep adding some carriage returns in the field to fill it in? I have that same issue when I look at my products & my basket.

2.) When I get to the "Checkout Confirmation" page, the footer is way off to the left??

So far, I think those are the last of my real issues to making it look right.

Anyother suggestions would be appreciated as well.
