Hello,

Where do I add an option or options to a product? I cannot find it in the backend.
For example I want to sell a car and I want to be able to let the customer chose White or Black.

Thanks for all help!

Kind Regards,
Daniel

Hi,

On the admin page, first you must create your options, after that go to products and click the folder beside the product name then click Insert.
Hope this helps.

If you are using the 0.7.7 version it should be located just to the right of the Product Name, that means the far left of the browser window. Like the image below.

Be good if some more instructions were added above the listing like a key by default.

The options folder needs to be more explicitly named. I'm a software engineer and couldn't figure this one out :) I kept going into my update panel for products getting frustrated over not being able to add options. I then thought it happened at the category level, so I went to edit the category, nothing there. Wasn't until I found this thread that told me of a secret untitled image link next to the product name that would solve all of my problems :)

To the developers, please put a title over this image in future builds.
