hello all,
i'm having an issue on the checkout page when using authorize.net to pay for the order. i have to click on the confirm order button twice for the page to be redirected correctly to the checkout/success page. the first time when i click on the confirm order button, the button briefly changes to 'loading...' then goes back to 'confirm order' and the page doesn't redirect to the checkout/success page, however, the order is correctly processed and shows up in the dashboard. when i click on the confirm order button a second time, the page redirects to the checkout/success page correctly with no duplicate order. i don't understand why i have to click on the confirm order button twice to get to the checkout/success page. it doesn't do this with other payment methods such as cod.
i don't know if this problem has anything to do with the fact that i'm running my copy of opencart on localhost or that authorize.net is in test mode. any idea how to fix this issue?

thanks for the info on using the error log, i found out what the problem was and fixed it.
the problem was i didn't have mail server configured on my opencart installation on localhost. i configured the mail server to use gmail email relay(instructions on how to do this can be found online) and the issue was fixed.
