Hi,

I have company with VAT (tax) number so I need to have three important details in my invoices:

1. price without VAT
2. VAT amount
3. final price including VAT

Is there any chance to do it with OpenCart?

In Presta there are all these details defaultly included in invoice.

Thnx

Do you run 1.4.8?

Have you enabled and set the VAT rate in the back end?

Actually there is a 4th thing that has to be shown on the Invoice and that is the VAT number.

I have just set up 1.4.8 and I don't get the VAT number on the invoice either. I have the VAT rate set and it is charging it, and listing it on the order and invoice. However I can't find where to enter my VAT number for it to be stored and printed! Can someone tell me that first and then how to get it to show, please.

Best wishes

As far as I know you'll have to edit your invoice manually to have the VAT registration number

I usually put my VAT number into my address details (for sure) - better somewhere than nowhere

thnx for help, I change the default VAT settings and now I have VAT separately in the invoice, but now I need to recalculate all my product prices and what is worse also shipping fees because they was changing (rising up with 19% of VAT). I would prefer writing final retail prices including VAT and automatic recalculation of price without VAT and amount of VAT instead what is more natural and much faster

It would be a great feature if VAT was calculated separately once the total price was entered - as its a nightmare to do it manually. Also VAT reg number should be included on invoices automatically as its a Revenue requirement for registered companies.

Agree. This is very simple function: final retail price / 1.x (x is VAT percentage) = price without VAT
Current system is slow and makes things much complicated
