Hey guys! I would need some help to integrate OpenCart with MailChimp.
Using MailChimp (MC), I created an embedded sign up form and I replaced the default one in OpenCart (OC) located in "account/newsletter", so when a user clicks on the "Newsletter" link in the footer it goes directly to the embedded form from MC. I also created a pop-up (modal) for subscribing. What I need to do is when a user register a new account to automatically send the user's name and e-mail to MC. Is such thing possible?
Currently the only solution I could think of is to edit the registration form (account/registration) and put there another form from MC, but I suppose there could be a better solution..

Here's a detailed example on how to sync MailChimp emails: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3048 ... mps-api-v3

If you want to avoid having to do all the work yourself, my MailChimp Integration extension does all of that for you. It sends the customer's e-mail to MailChimp when they register in the standard registration page, register in the checkout, or change their newsletter preferences in their account area. It also syncs information when the admin makes changes, and includes a sign-up module you can place in any standard module position.

Feel free to take a look at the screenshots and demo site, and if you're interested let me know at www.getclearthinking.com/contact if you have any further questions.
