Hi, does anyone know how to implement the cardinalcommerce 3D secure checks while using the Paypal Pro on OpenCart 2.1.0.2?

We have had too many charge backs and fraudulent translations using the OpenCart PayPal Pro module.

Cardinal Commerce have a OpenCart setup manual, but it's our of data and only covers OpenCart 1.5
https://developer.cardinalcommerce.com/ ... _Guide.pdf
Please help...

This could rather be done as a custom job by posting on the commercial support forum section. However, take note that the 3D Secure feature of PayPal is still part of the Website Payment Pro (UK Only) edition when processing credit card payments as a direct payment method.

I also found this extension which may be useful to you: http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... n_id=24660

Thank you straightlight, we do have a PayPal Pro Account and we are in the UK.

TBH i find it all very confusing and PayPal & Cardinal Commerce are not being very helpful. They say we need to implement 3D Secure if we are taking payments direct, which we have found 80% of transactions customers prefer Direct card payments rather than PayPal Express.

Cardinal Commerce keep referring to an Opencart module (http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... 615&filter_
username=devatsrs) which is a dead link. Page 6 of the Cardinal Commerce setup guide.

I did find this add-on, http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... n_id=18264
but the developer appears inactive and I cannot get an answer if it would work with OpenCart 2.1.0.2, or with 2.2 when we upgrade.

PayPak has said via telephone support that we must implement 3D secure via Cardinal Commerce (which we have registered) to reduce potential fraud. So far we have had £800 frozen in our palpal account this month, and our website only turnover £2000 PCM

:-\ Almost half of our transactions are fraudulent.
