Clean install?

Only additional language?

What if you use English instead of your additional language?

Switch back to the default template and see if the problem persists.

The default language pack may also be corrupted, one to many files may also have been overwritten accidentally which can bring confusion to the platform. I would suggest either disabling one extension at the time until finding if the problem persists. If so, re-upload the default language pack. Then, switch to the default language pack from the admin and see if the problem persists.

I deleted everything. I installed the new OpenCart in cpanel. Everything ok categories functioning normally. After I changed the theme appeared again the issue to create or edit categories.
Without change anything, we created two categories: animale and pasari

What do you advise me to do? Dealer where I bought the theme, can't help me ....

Thanks

When indicating changed the theme. to which theme did you switched to?

Also, in your admin - > systems - > tools - > error log, do you see any recent error lines regarding categories with the admin folder?

Your screenshot does not demonstrate if the cursor is on the bottom of the text area window. Are you sure these entries are recently logged? According to the date, the last entry was on 2016-04-27 which means that either the cursor is not at the bottom or your logs might be overloaded as it may have reached the size capacity limit. If overloaded, the log entries limit capacity can bring a bit confusion to the merchant believing that no error entries would be involved since which may not be the case.

Could you clear your error logs by using the top right button on the page and try the categories again then go back to the error logs page? Different results may appear afterwards.

In your admin - > systems - > settings - > edit store - > server tab, are your error logs activated?

In addition, if you check the categories and the categories_description database table in your PHPMyAdmin - > your opencart database, do you see the last results added into the database or any blank rows?

Yes, I checked and error logs are active.
At issue categories, does not appear any error when adding new category, it shows me that was added successfully. No arranges them properly.
If you have time, you can take a look to create two categories.

Thanks

As for PHPMyAdmin console, what does it indicate on your host panel? Were the categories properly stored into the database and viewable via PHPMyAdmin or you see an error message on the top of that page?

Now that the link has been removed from your last post, can you follow the PHPMyAdmin steps from my previous post?

PHPMyAdmin your entire Opencart database to where the platform needs to manipulate the data. The steps above are about to verify if you have any stored data into the categories, categories description table and / or if you could see any error messages on the top of the PHPMyAdmin console.

For more information, please read this post: http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php ... 7&p=625904 which provides details on the database table structure. You might also want to take a look into the cPanel databases table permissions to ensure all is check marked. Otherwise, you won't be able to write on the database tables.

Hello
I installed everything from the beginning. After I installed the theme, I created two categories: pasari and animale. In phpMyAdmin in oc_category_description table I saw that they category_id = 0. It is ok? And id different for each language. I currently package for English and French installed.
Look and display the top of the page.

Thanks

If both the category table and the category description table shows 0, there might be something wrong with either those two tables or many more tables if not the entire database or if no extension alters the insertion of categories only. Before jumping to troubleshooting, do you have any extensions installed especially for categories? If so, I would suggest to disable them and to try again with new categories.
