Hi,

did you know that google doesn't index costumer reviews? check out the page source of a product page with a review and you want be able to see the review there... you can also check the cache version of this page on google and it wont be there either...
From a seo point of view that's pretty bad since reviews are fresh content on your product pages...

I found a fix for 1.5.4 version but it doesn't work for 2.x versions:

did any one manage to fix this? and if so how?

Thanks in advance...

By default, Opencart does not send product reviews information to Google but in your Opencart database. If you're posting about a specific contribution, please contact the developer of that specific contribution to fix the reported issue.

This is an old issue. In Opencart the reviews for the product page are loaded by ajax and are not visible by robots.
And to be used they have to be submitted with structured data(rich snippets).
In my rich snippets extension this issue is fixed.
Rich Snippets SEO Product, Breadcrumbs, Knowledge Graph, Search

However, there are many other things to be implemented well in order to see your reviews in the SERP. Good site quality, useful content an so on. There is no guarantee that Google will show your reviews and ratings.
