I am listing this as a Bug (actually a design issue) as this just should Not Be an issue.

The Description field is truncating data. Apparently it is set up to only display 64KB of info. Quite ridiculous really.

I found a fix in the Topic below from 2012 which in my opinion Opencart should have implemented in the core system. Posting this here for anyone else who might come across this limitation.

Don't take this the wrong way but you are the second person in 5 years that has discover this "Huge" bug...

The software is free, the fix to your problem was free... What are you whinging for??? Nobody is stopping you in customising this FREE software any way you like....You want to write a 10 pages poem in the product description. Change the TEXT to LONGTEXT instead. Then you can write for ever...

Over 95% of all computer problems can be traced back to the interface between the keyboard and the chair...

Wow what got up your nose today Burt. Take a chill pill Dude.

I don't give a Rats Arse whether this is Free or Otherwise. I have been in IT for 43 years from mainframes to small stuff, have run two public listed companies, and if something needs mentioning I mention it. I don't need BS feedback from a piss ant like you.

Did I abuse anyone in my post ? Don't think so. Just posted a [SOLVED] to help anyone else who might come across this.
