Hi all,

I have started trying to change the look of opencart which I have set up for a friend (www.bellameo.co.uk/opencart_v0.6.5/upload).

I modified the logo file, and the background in opencart_v0.6.5/upload/catalog/template/default/image and some changes to the css stylesheet in the level above. These looked fine last night. Today however, I am getting the default look and not the new files. I checked and the files are still modified on ths server.

Last night I was using firefox and today I am using ie. Not sure if this makes a difference. Is there another place that the files need changing?

Firefox caches the style sheet and you need to hit refresh.

It's not firefox that has the problem. Last night, checking with Firefox, all the updates were looking good.

Today with internet explorer, it seems to be back to the old look. I have cleared downloaded files, refreshed etc but the changes aren't showing even though the files are still modified.

Fixed it. Stupid internet explorer not flushing its cache properly.

I hate microsoft.

My god, such a little problem and yet I was totally confounded.  Thanks for saving me even more time. All I had to do was hold down shift and reload! I've been doing this years and I still forget!
