Home page NEW and SPECIALS label

On my site tubs4hire.co.uk for some reason the labels that appear for new or special offer products on the home page has changed from NEW or SALE to TEXT_NEW and TEXT_SALE. The latest product and special offers module that adds this functionality came with my opencart template purchase.
Does anyone have any idea how to change these back?

Probably your Theme Seller would know best, why those language variables are not working.
Possibly, they do not even exist, by default, in OC, and as a consequence ot this, only
the VARIABLE NAME is beeing printed out, meaning, that they seem to be configured/declared/defined correctly in the
CONTROLLER Section, but not existent in the LANGUAGE File, related. Or NOT in exactly this form, at least.
Your Custom theme may use a VqMod, to ADD such values to your Language File(s), related, but the VqMod is
not able to, because of some (to us) unknown reason, possibly just not finding it's ANCHOR, to interact.
