I have read all the posts on this error, tried all the suggestion
reset the API
Added the HtAccess file
None seems to work

Does not to it for me, but customers

Hi gordon56,
You did not read them all, you missed the important one that tells you exactly what the problem is and how to fix it... I will assume you are asking about v2.2.0.0 since you did not give that information.
Solution for "error undefined" message in V2.2.0.0
No need to pay but donations are always welcome...

yes I must of missed that one except I dont want it to go to HTTPS as it uses paypal does not need that, so... what would the ,htaccess look like otherwise... as the ssl is not set in the system section

What???
EVERY legit payment systems uses HTTPS.
That is basically the whole purpose of HTTPS for payment systems or other sensitive data.
What exactly do you mean?
