Modules not showing up... Featured, category, etc.

I really hate to even post this because I feel like its something small or dumb I'm missing. I'm new to OC, but I cannot figure out why I cannot get any products to show on the home page. I've read through everything I can find.

Products and Categories are all set to Default store (only have the one.)
All availability dates are correct.
All products work fine when you click the categories or when you view them individually... it's just the module side isn't working.
I already reinstalled and updated OC install....

I'm at a loss.

What module are you trying to display on your home page? I have featured on mine... Once I setup module and products etc I then had to go to Design > Layouts > Home and add the module to the home page layout.
