Hi,
My order numbers don't appear to count normally, e.g. Order #1, #2, #3, #4, #5 etc.
Instead, although they appear in ascending order, there are numbers missing, e.g. Order #1, #3, #5, #8, #12 etc.
Why is this happening? And can it be fixed?

Order numbers can change when an order is cancelled, voided, deleted etc... Which could lead to missing numbers.
Check your order table for contents.

You can go to orders and select order status 'missing orders' to see the missing ID's. They are abandoned carts.
