Have media mail and priority options selected. I want media mail only for selected products. When I chose an item that does not require media mail it still shows as an option in checkout. The weight and dimensions of product should exclude the media mail option from showing. HELP PLEASE
The built-in USPS method does not include the dimensions of products in its request. I have a USPS Pro extension that uses a 3-dimensional packing algorithm to determine the appropriate box size, based on the item dimensions. It should only show Media Mail when the products weight and size qualify for that rate.
If you instead want to restrict the Media Mail rate in the built-in method, based on the volume or weight of the cart, you could also use Restrict Shipping Methods to do that. It can restrict any shipping, and individual rates with those methods, based on a variety of rules.
