loaded 1.5.4 but can't restore error 1054

I hope someone can help me.
I messed my site up trying to up-grade, luckily I did a back-up before I started, lost all admin and my site so did a fresh install of 1.5.4. I was on 1.4 something before.
opencart appears to be fine but when I try to restore with my back-up file I get the message:

Notice: Error: Unknown column 'option_value' in 'field list'
Error No: 1054
INSERT INTO `oc_product_option` (`product_option_id`, `product_id`, `option_id`, `option_value`, `required`) VALUES ('236', '65', '11', '', '1') in /home/wholesal/public_html/system/database/mysql.php on line 49

At this point it's probably better to just go to 2.x. The upgrade process may fix your broken tables.
I do offer a professional upgrade service if you are unsure about doing the process yourself.
