Mod Request - Text Page as "Product"

Is there an existing module out there that can allow an HTML page to be displayed as a product in a category?

For example, I have a category of "widgets", with a dozen different designs available. I would like to have a "Guide to Choosing Your Widget" displayed as a selectable item on the product page, retaining the menu and breadcrumb structure of the category page. I have considered using the category description for that, but in some cases, it might be so large that it could push the products right off the bottom of the screen.

I could foresee this being a modification to a standard product template, modified to basically only show the image and the description with no columns, but then you'd need a way to select the appropriate template to use when creating a new product.

You could try to use something like this:

PS. I am just not sure, if OC.2 will possibly filter anything, like Links, or external images... but you'll find out!
Just don't try it by Use of an OC built-in Text-Editor, but insert your CONTENT manually into the .TPL File!

Thanks, Ernie, but I'm no coder, so would have no idea how to translate those examples to my "product" idea.
