Duplicate filter module in Opencart 2

Hi there,
I currently have the filter module installed on the default category page to make searching through products easy.
However, I have a custom category page (seperate .tpl) for a particular category. I need a different design filter for this custom category page.
I assume that I will need to duplicate the filter module so I can redesign it to my liking? If so - how do I do this?
All help is appreciated! I'm on a tight deadline!
