Selecting Category Problem

I have fresh installed the latest opencart version 2.1.0.1. when I created new subcategory and difficulty to select the main category. sometimes I tried to select up to 10 times before sucessful. Also, when I create new product or edit produt. All categries popup for me to select but once I selected but it wont add to the box. please let me know how to fix it. Thanks...
